Biblical Counseling

“believers in Christ (John 3:3-8) who are indwelled, empowered and led by the Holy Spirit” (John 14:26) “minister the living and active Word of God” (Hebrew  4:12) “to others with the goals of evangelizing the lost and teaching the saved”(Matthew 28:18-20).

Biblical Counseling is the process by which the Bible and God’s Word, is related to an individual or an individual’s specific circumstances. Providing face-to-face ministry, specific struggles, personal suffering and individual sins are addressed from a Biblical perspective. The aim of Biblical Counseling is to help an individual make a sincere inner change to live a life more aligned with God’s plan.

“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” - Matthew 7: 24-25 (NIV)

“Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.”
-Ephesians 5:22-27 (NIV)
