Prayer in the Park

“ I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people”– 1 Timothy 2:1 (NIV)

 Prayer in the Park is an opportunity for all Burnside Community Baptist Church members and the Burnside Community, including other churches, to connect in one place and pray for the church, the community and the world.  This ministry was created by Reverend Shears, our current BCBC pastor, in 2008. It was originally called “Church in the Park” and consisted of three local churches. Then, 15-minute worship experiences were held on the corner of 91st Place and Langley Avenue. In 2016 it was later moved to Tuley Park and renamed “Prayer in the Park.” All are welcome.
