Music Ministry

“The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the Lord. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the Lord and sang...” -II Chron. 5:13 (NIV)

We use music to lift praise to God and lead His people in worship whenever we gather in God's house and in His name.  Music invokes joy, it conveys our thanks and praise to the Lord and may serve as prayers for forgiveness or a petition for help from God. Therefore, at Burnside Community Baptist Church we stress that our worship is more than just what happens on Sunday morning and Monday and Wednesday nights.  From the youngest to the oldest person, we teach our members to be lifelong worshipers of God through songs and music!
 
BCBC’s Music Ministry has several different choirs, the Christian Warriors Choir (CWC), Men’s Choir and Soul Nia, our youth choir.  So, there’s a place for everyone to sing! If you are interested in getting involved with our Music Ministry, please feel free to contact us.
