Missions Ministry

“…I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” -Matthew 25:36

The Missions Ministry is an outreach Ministry that assist and guide people who have an ongoing spiritual need.  This ministry aims to draw unsaved and unchurched persons to the worship experience and special programs. Other programs and/or activities are developed with the goal of drawing together the body of Christ.  We pray for “an eye to see”, “an ear to hear” and a “a heart to respond” to those in need, always asking God to Bless our “feeble efforts.” Missions members duties include:

⦁    Attending Bible Study regularly
⦁    Engaging in continuous prayer
⦁    Nursing Home Visitations, monthly ever 4th Sunday
⦁    Organizing and participating in prison outreach at East Moline Correctional Center, twice annually (Spring & Fall)
⦁    Assisting in the Church’s EFY Feeding Ministry
⦁    Visiting the sick in hospitals and home environments
⦁    Providing Mothers Ministry members with an annual birthday gift
⦁    Sending get-well and sympathy cards to the bereaved and confined members
⦁    Assisting the Pastor wherever needed.
